THE BIBLE CHRONOLOGERS' STORY
Arthur Ware, Frank Paine and their colleaguesproved themselves to be remarkable Bible Chronologers over their many years of study.It is no exaggeration to state that their findings show beyond doubt that God has always been in control – and He still is. 

A Balanced Approach

Bible Chronology is not an end in itself, even though it is fascinating and absorbing in its own right. Think of a window pane: we look THROUGH it, rather than AT it. 

Just so with Bible Chronology. When all is said and done, we look THROUGH it far more than we look AT it, so as to worship Him Who lies beyond it - our extraordinary Creator Himself, the God who has made Himself known to us in the Holy Bible as Father, Son and Holy Spirit in all His glory. 

So when studying Bible Chronology we keep a balanced approach. There are two mistakes to avoid – either of our writing the whole thing off on the one hand, or of our becoming over-obsessed with it all on the other. We show prayerful respect to the findings of any Bible chronologers, taking care as we do so to “quench not the Spirit” (I Thessalonians 5.19). Equally we tread with caution and apply prayerful spiritual discernment.

Differing Knowledge and Differing Reactions

Some visitors to this site may be Bible Chronology experts already, some may know a little, and some may be complete newcomers. Whatever your level of knowledge, there is much here for us all, for we are dealing with divinely-embedded facts within God’s Word itself.

As our knowledge and interest may vary, so too will our various reactions. A few may feel called to devote further serious study to these matters, while a few may be inclined to dismiss the whole thing as nonsense. Perhaps most will be in the middle, allowing their broad awareness of the wonders of the Lord's use of Time to make a real difference in terms of their daily discipleship.

Extracts of Personal Letters

For the first time we are able to include in these pages extracts from the personal letters of the late Mr Frank Paine, by kind permission of his daughter Grace.
